  • Sales Consultant

    Job Description: This position will be responsible for gathering, understanding and mapping customer business needs to individual reports and dashboards in the Quantivo tool set as part of the pre-sales cycle. In addition, the candidate will be involved in product demos and early enablement cycles to help customers in their quick adoption of Quantivo's SaaS solution. Role requires working closely with individual sales reps and Quantivo's technical operations team.

    Location: NY/NJ area

    Job Requirements:

    • 8-10 years of experience in a sales consulting or related roles.
    • At least 5 years of pre-sales technical/product-level experience in enterprise companies.
    • Proven experience working with sales reps on delivering successful proof-of-concept conversions (prospect to customer).
    • Excellent technical skills with a minimum 5 years of experience with DW, BI and/or ETL technologies.
    • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
    • An entrepreneurial, success-oriented and self-motivated mindset with versatile skills.

    Bonus Requirements:

    • Experience working with advanced analytics or data mining toolsets.
    • Experience working in a SaaS environment and with Amazon S3-based toolsets.
    • Experience implementing technology solutions at customer sites.
  • Database Kernel Architect / Technical Lead

    Job Description: this position will be responsible for leading the architecture, design and implementation of a cutting-edge database kernel specifically designed for large-scale data analytics.

    Location: San Mateo, CA

    Job Requirements:

    • 4+ years of recent kernel-level development experience in C++ in a multi-threaded server or DBMS product.
    • Recent and extensive experience programming in Java.
    • 8+ years of overall commercial software development experience.
    • Guru-level knowledge of SQL.
    • Demonstrated experience in database internals with focus on query optimization, execution planning and data structure access methods.
    • Experience supervising other engineers with emphasis on driving core design definitions and architectural principles.
    • Proven experience delivering successful products through the full product lifecycle.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • BS Computer Science or equivalent.
    • An entrepreneurial, self-motivated mindset.

    Bonus Requirements:

    • Advanced degree in Computer Science with emphasis on database, analytics or data mining research.
    • Direct experience with an open source database system such as MySQL, Derby or PostgreSQL.
    • Strong operating system internals knowledge.
    • Experience working in a SaaS environment.
    • Experience working with reporting, database or analytics infrastructure such as OLAP servers, reporting frameworks, data warehouse technology.
